Started my new running class (5K) yesterday. I am almost giddy from the running. Why did I stop doing this for so long? It is really hard to get back into a routine that’s been broken by something as awesomely slacktastic as a wedding + honeymoon in the BVI. And it has been cold (well sometimes) lately and that makes it hard to get out of bed and go into the elements. But seriously I have to keep with this because it’s really stupid not too.
The workout was hard, I had some serious calf cramps (will I ever banish these? probably not by sitting on the couch for 3 months), but I am in such a great mood today. I can’t believe it’s that easy.
